Cafe Meals

Persephone smiled as she saw Hades, he sat at the wrought-iron table outside the cute little cafe they both like. She sat down across from the God of the Underworld and enjoyed his silver-blue eyes widening.

"Hello Hades," she greeted as she looked at her husband.

"Persephone," Hades sighed as he looked at his now mahogany haired wife, he could see hints of blonde as the last day of summer ended. "Ready for autumn?"

She rose her chin as she her green eyes met his, "Always, besides, I have missed Cerberus. Spring and Summer are wonderful, but Autumn and Winter are the holidays that bring everyone closer together with Thanksgiving and Christmas."

Hades nodded his smile brightening at her observation. "I'm glad that I get to spend those holidays with you, along with Halloween and New Years," he reminded her before he took a sip of his coffee.

"Me too," she fondly replied as the waiter approached to take her order.

The Goddess of Spring and Queen of the Underworld smiled as she ordered a pumpkin spice latte with cinnamon waffles. As they waited for their food to arrive, the couple talked what had happened in the months that Persephone had been away from their home.

Hades held her hand in his own, gently brushing his thumb against her knuckles. He had missed her, the months where she was away were lonely. But these six months with her were the ones he cherished the most.
