In the Night

As the music played loudly downstairs, and the guests mingled and gossiped, a petite brunette rifled through the master bedroom for various jewelry pieces. She swiped a few pins, broaches, necklaces, and hair combs that were displayed out in the open; the trinkets easily concealed in her purse or dress. With a careful ear and watchful eyes, she slinked easily back into the crowd of guests and exited with the crowd, when it was time to leave -fin
